Data API · for insurers, lenders and software firms
Florida building records, as an API.
Our feed's records for any building or zip code in 34 Central & South Florida counties: recertification and milestone-inspection deadlines and what is on file, condo reserve-study (SIRS) deadlines, code and unsafe-structure cases, permits with the contractor and job value, pre-permit projects, jobs needing temporary power, and standby generator sites with their next service date. JSON over HTTPS, keys you create and revoke yourself, updated every weekday morning.

Authorization: Bearer bd_…. GET only.
since (ISO date-time: only records first seen after it),
category (one or more of recertification, reserve_study,
violation, permit, project, power — jobs needing
temporary power — power_site — standby generator sites — and foreclosure —
non-homestead, commercial and association foreclosure filings), zip and
city (comma-separated), limit (up to 1000). Poll with the newest
first_seen you already hold.
Each building's year built, storeys, units, coastal status, the deadline year and any official deadline, roof history (City of Miami), and the condo association and its management firm.
One parcel: its records of every type, the verdict on its inspection cycle, roof and condo details.
What each record carries
uid, category, source_key, address,
city, zipcode, folio (parcel id), status and
filing_status (our verdict: deadline year, filed / open / enforcement / nothing on file),
filing_ref, description, valuation (declared job value),
owner_name (the owner of record, where the county publishes it),
contractor_name, lat / lon, record_date,
first_seen, last_changed and url (the public source record).
On /leads, a job with a contractor also carries contractor: the business's
name, phone, email, address and licence where they are public — the same contact the portal and
the CSV export give.
Limits
- 20,000 calls a day per key, and 120 a minute. Up to ten active keys.
- Region-wide: any zip or city in our 34 counties, not a territory.
- Licensed for your company's own use, on the same terms as the feed: not to resell, republish or redistribute. Building it into a product your customers see is a separate licence — ask us.
Compiled from county, city and state public records; a starting point, not an official notice. Questions: hello@buildingdue.com.
